Bad Boy, Ryder Davenport comes into Dina Fowler’s life in the middle of her own personal hell.

Still coming to terms with the death of her parents, she pushes everyone away. When she trusts the wrong man, putting her in a bad relationship she felt she couldn’t escape, Ryder comes along. Enjoying his playboy ways, fast cars, motorcycles and a new woman in his bed nightly, Ryder had no thoughts of settling down. That is, until he sees the damage a man can do when he meets a very broken Dina. He changes in hopes of one day being enough for her. But, can she ever feel safe with a man again?

Ryder has restored hundreds of classic cars, can he restore Dina’s heart?

All books in the Daddy’s Girls series are now available for purchase through Amazon and Barnes and Noble.

*This book has been edited by Asli Fratarcangeli. Cover design and formatting provided by IndieVention.*

Ryan, the reformed bad boy, has been in love with Dina for years. But has taken things very slowly and accepted her friendship instead of a relationship because she isn’t ready for it yet. After years of “bad luck” Dina finally gets a reality check from her best friend and agrees to go out with Ryan. This book has a great flow and you really root for the main characters to get together, especially since they have been friends for so many years they seamlessly flow into a relationship. I love how Dina is a strong female lead who has a life outside Ryan and works hard to keep her independence and have love at the same time. I also loved the supporting roles and the long friendships they have all had with each other. 4 out of 5 stars for this book. The character development is amazing and we really get to feel all their emotions!
Brayden and Maggie have been dating for four years. Maggie is ready and expecting an engagement ring. Brayden has a past full of weaknesses and mistakes he can’t seem to shake. As he slowly loses everything, he also loses Maggie.
As his world unravels, can he find the strength to shake his inner demons? Does he have it in him to face the ghosts of his past? Can Maggie overcome his deceptions? Will they find a way to love and trust again? Can their love and relationship be salvaged?

This book is intended for mature audiences as it continues adult language and content.

This book is the sequel to Restore my Heart and is about Maggie and Brayden, best friends of Ryan and Dina, we first meet these two in book one and they have an established relationship. After 4 years of dating Maggie is waiting for Brayden to propose but he has some inner demons to fight and goes into rehab. Maggie patiently waits for him and we get to see them build an even stronger bond. Brayden really fights to keep Maggie’s respect and love and shares all his deepest secrets with her. I also give this book 4 out of 5 stars, good emotional character development…..
High school sweethearts manage to make it through college into the working world still together and going strong. From the start of their relationship Jake has made very clear his apprehension to marriage. Kenna understood going into this nine years ago that with Jake there would never be a ring or white dress.
Now seeing their friends so eager to make such a serious commitment in their own relationships a crack begins to form in Jake and Kenna’s once solid foundation.
Will Kenna ever open up and share her dreams with Jake? Can Jake overcome his childhood issues? Is Kenna willing to accept things just as they are forever? Will her desire for a more serious commitment make her change her feelings for her one love? Is Jake enough alone or does Kenna demand more than he can give? Can they move forward full throttle into their future together?

This book intended for 18+ due to adult content and language

Jake and Kenna have been together for 9 years, he has always been honest about not wanting to get married, but lately Kenna has been feeling like there is more she wants out of life than being someone’s “live in girlfriend”. We, the reader, get a lot of background on Jake and Kenna because they have been together for so long and have built a mature stable relationship. One based on two people who share everything with each other, and still have a strong passion for each other. It took Jake coming to terms with his fear of commitment for him to propose to Kenna but she would have stayed with him anyways and i was really happy that everything worked out for them. What strong characters to stand by each other even though how they were living wasn’t “conventional”. I would give this book 5 out of 5 stars. The characters did what they thought was best for each other and didn’t let anyone peer pressure them to do anything they didn’t want to do.

Harrison and Tiffany have a long history of hooking up. Harrison decides he wants more. Tiffany, a spoiled Southern Belle is embarrassed by a working class Harrison. After over two years apart Tiffany is missing his touch. She heads to Charlotte to claim her man.
Harrison is finally settled in Charlotte. He has a job he loves, his sister close by, great friends, and an awesome agreement going with Sophia.
Can Sophia ever want more from Harrison than just sex? Has Harrison fallen in love or just lust with Sophia?
After all this time and hurt feelings, is he really meant to be with Tiffany? Can Harrison manage to let his guard down and find his way back to Tiffany? Will Tiffany be satisfied with a regular working class mechanic? Or is their relationship in the past and beyond repair?

Beyond repair wraps up the series and we get a more intimate look at Maggie’s brother Harrison and his long time on again off again girlfriend Tiffany. It takes the death of a friend for Tiffany to realize how much Harrison means to her and when she finally does he has moved on. I feel like the Sophia character in the book is very transparent and only there so that Tiffany and Harrison have an obstacle to overcome, Harrison and Sophia are together for nearly 2 years without any form of commitment or love and that doesn’t make any sense to me. If he and Tiffany had such a deep, profound relationship it wouldn’t take 2 years to figure it out. I would give this book a 3 out of 5 stars only because we get to have all the other characters from the other books in it and get updated on all their lives. I enjoyed the character Harrison, it just didn’t make sense that he would waste 2 years of his life on someone that told him repeatedly they didn’t want commitment from him.

and the prequel Novella to Restore my Heart is a sneak peak on what Dina suffered before Ryder~

Crash…..a crash ended it all and started it all. Dina Fowler is attending college with her long time best friend Maggie Lawson. Life is good and carefree. Until the crash that changed it all. Her freshman year ends with the loss of her parents in a car accident, spiraling Dina into a deep depression. Secluding herself as she picks up the pieces to her life, slowly she finds the only person she has left is Maggie.
Chance encounters sometimes make the most incredible moments, other times they crash and burn. A chance encounter brings Michael barreling into a lost and vulnerable Dina’s life. Playing on every weakness she has, he weasels his way into her heart. Slow build up to the hell that was soon to become Dina’s daily nightmare. Her parents are gone. She wants out but has no idea how to escape her new reality.
Can she find her way out? Or will she be lost completely burning in her own personal hell?

This book is intended for adults 18+ due to language and content. This book is centered around an abusive relationship, if you don’t want to face that do not read this book.

Broken. Battered. Not defeated. This is not a pretty story, wrapped in a nice package. This is a real story. Parts of this story are my very own. Defeated by the hands and words of a man, I am no more. This is a story of how easily the warning signs are overlooked. An outsider can easily say, “How do women stay in abusive relationships?” They don’t understand, it starts in little ways, a slow build up, by the time you are aware, it can be too late.

Little about the author~

Chelsea Camaron was born and raised in Coastal North Carolina. She currently resides in Southern Louisiana with her husband and two children but her heart is always Carolina day dreaming. Chelsea always wanted to be a writer, but like most of us, let fear of the unknown grab a hold of her dream; she realized that if she was going to tell her daughter to go for her dreams, that it was time to follow her own advice. Chelsea grew up turning wrenches alongside her father, and from that grew her love for old muscle cars and Harley Davidson motorcycles, which just so happened to inspired her ‘Daddy’s Girls’ series. Her love for reading has sparked a new love for writing and she currently has a few more projects in the works. When she is not spending her days writing you can find her playing with her kids, attending car shows, going on motorcycle rides on the back of her husband’s Harley, snuggling down with her new favorite book or watching any movie that Vin Diesel might happen to be in. She hates being serious and is still a big kid at heart. She is a small town country girl enjoying life and, Chelsea hopes that her readers remember not to take life too seriously and to embrace your inner five year old, because five year olds know how to enjoy the simple things in life and how to always have fun.

**novella length**

Vanessa Smith has her heart guarded. She’s been married to a man that sleeps around and has made her think she’s ugly and undeserving. Everything changes when she is knocked down by the famous basketball player, Jackson Berrios. A friendship ensues and everything she thought she knew about men turns out to be wrong.

Jackson Berrios was out for a run in a new city when he made contact with the beautiful Vanessa Smith. He instantly knew she was different from most girls but can he make her see that he’s different from her cheating husband?

*I received this book for exchange for my honest review **

First lets start off by saying I love J.D. Rivera-she was one of my first authors that I did a real review on my blog-so I sort of have a little soft SPOT for my JD. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to post this review on my scheduled tour date due to family responsibilities- yes kids.

So this is my review! This is a novella, and has so much packed into one story, I wouldn’t know it was one. I wish it turned into a full novel..but you’ll love it.

Vanessa Smith is a women that just got the raw end of the deal-married to the worst husband you could imagine calling her a whore- and piece of shit wife. He says she’s ugly and she’ll never be unwanted..this was Shane.

Until she meets him. Jackson Berrios. Professional Basketball player just drafted to Oklahoma. However, Vanessa didn’t know this when she literally ran smack dab into him.

Vanessa has been so broken down mentally, verbally and emotionally-she doesn’t feel like she is beautiful, and Jackson assures her that she is nothing but beautiful.

I loved this sorry from start to ending. I loved how Vanessa grew up in the story, and what was a damaging demeanor, turned her into a confident woman. Jackson took his emotions and displaced them to her, and def turned out to be a nice guy. He wasn’t the typical rumored basketball player that cheats on their gf or wives.

JD def did good! I wonder if Ray and Amanda will get a story?!

Pressing the boundaries of both the psyche and the heart, Sam and Holden embark on a dangerous journey that will test the limits of love.

Sam Wintry’s life used to be almost perfect. She was engaged to her childhood best friend and high school sweetheart, Tyler Marks, planning an amazing cross-country honeymoon during her college break. But after a hit-and-run leaves her in ruin, she begins seeing Tyler’s fractured, ghostly presence, and her family believes she’s losing her mind. Not until she completes their journey, stopping along the way to scatter Tyler’s remains, will Tyler be able cross over. Only…is Sam ready for him to leave her?

When the black sheep of the Marks’ family, Holden Marks, returns to check on Tyler’s case, Sam convinces him to give her his brother’s ashes. Despite their shaky history, she needs him…plus, he owes it to Sam and his brother. What she doesn’t count on is Holden’s relentlessness to go on the trip.

On the road, Holden realizes just how unhinged Sam has become. Dealing with her psychosis forces him to confront his dark past, making it harder to keep secrets hidden that should remain buried. Especially from Sam, the only woman he’s ever loved. And as Sam starts to unravel the truth, she begins to question if the brother she’s unwillingly falling for again is in an even darker place than her.

The Darkest Part is a book about a young woman, Sam, having to come to terms with her fiancé’s death. They were both young, just entering college, but have been together for years and planned to get married when he was killed in a hit and run. Sam spirals into a deep depression and quits school and refuses to shower and wants to waste away in her room. She finally wants to honor her fiancé’s last wishes and spread his ashes on a road trip that they were planning.  With the help of Tylers brother Holden, Sam sets out on a journey to let go of Tylers memory and move on with her life. This is a nice story about Sam finding out who she is without Tyler in her life and finding that she can be strong and have her own opinions without Tyler there to guide her. She finds that her first love, Holden, still loves her and they also find a way into each others hearts again. I feel like this book could have benefited from a stronger female lead. I understand that her fiancé was killed, but instead of trying to honor his memory she chose to quit living, that isn’t a way to show someone how much they meant to you. Also she wouldn’t have “adult” conversations with Holden, every time he tried to talk about feelings or anything about Tyler she got mad and walked away or shut him out. I would have liked to see a stronger role model for women, a character who could talk through the pain. It was a good story and everything was wrapped up nicely.
