Avoiding Commitment~ K.A. Linde 5 Star Review

13345975

Jack and Lexi never had a typical relationship. After 2 years without speaking, she receives a phone call that changes everything. He unexpectedly asks her to convince the new girl, Bekah, that he’s ready to commit. Jack is calling now after everything they had been through because there is another woman. She can’t believe it.

Follow Lexi in this heart wrenching drama as she relives her past relationship, or lack thereof, with Jack, and not just in her own mind, but to his fiance-to-be. Throw in Bekah’s hot brother who always seems to be in the right place at the right time, a past with more secrets to unravel than you can even imagine, and you get a recipe for disaster.

Find out what happens to Lexi as she travels to Atlanta to get the closure she so desperately desires from Jack, and how the bumps of life seem to keep getting in the way.

I picked up this series when I heard that Avoiding Temptation came out and needed to get on the band wagon to get caught up!! OMG I loved this book- However, there was many many many times I wanted to tie Lexi up and knock her around a few times to tell her Jack is nooooo good! But to be honest- haven’t we all fallen for the guy that plays us once and while- and we keep trailing behind him with our tail between our legs. Well to be honest- I have and I could totally feel how she felt. But for 6 years- was little extreme for her to be fall to girl. That’s when it gets to be a true statement of “You deserve everything you get”. Cheaters are horrible- and Lexi and Jack made this a friends with benefits to a whole new extreme.. they both deserve to miserable- but when she gets that phone call from Jack asking for her to come to Atlanta to meet up with him to convince the girl he has been dating that he is a decent relationship guy that’s when I wanted to scream!! Really who does that- at some point you wanna tell her to tell Jack to really eff off!!!- But dummy Lexi goes.

What I like about this book it was done in a different way that I have not read with a current time and previous time- taking you thru there current relationship and past relationship so your getting real time current events, leading to how she got to where she is now-

This was an excellent read for sure!!
