Release Date: 2/2014

We all get one true love in our lives, and it’s up to us to find it. Fate will act and try to push us together, but ultimately it’s up to us to recognize who that one person is when he’s standing in front of us.

It turns out that I recognized who my one person was when I was separated from my husband.

On the same day I determined that I was finally going to file for divorce, I confessed my secret to Jesse Drake, my swoon-worthy colleague known for his womanizing ways. Jesse invited me to crash with him, and with each new piece of the enigmatic Jesse puzzle that I started to fit into place, I found myself wondering if Fate had pushed us together for a reason.

If only my husband would stop getting in the way of the man with whom I was meant to be.

Meet the Author

My name is Wendi Hulsey. I was born and raised in Racine, Wisconsin, just south of Milwaukee. After several vacations to the sunshine state, my husband and I fell in love with the warm weather and decided to have a house built in Florida. I miss my family and friends up north;however, I will never regret not having to shovel snow again. I have been a registered nurse for about ten years. I currently work on a medical/surgical unit, preferring to work the night shift.

My husband and I have been married for sixteen years, and I appreciate his support during this endeavor. I have one son who is a hard working grown man now living on his own. He has blessed me with the most precious grandson and a wonderful future daughter in law. My daughter is a beautiful and smart teenager who excels at just about anything she tries. She enjoys playing soccer and we have spent numerous hours on various soccer fields. I am blessed to have my mother, a retired cook, living with me and she is a great help with cooking, cleaning, and chauffeuring the teenager. Other members of our family include; one dog, one cat, two turtles and several fish.

My love for reading began at the age of twelve on a stormy day. With nothing to do I was bugging my mother, she said, “Go read a book.” I have never stopped. As a teenager, I preferred horror books, mainly Stephen King. As I age, my reading tastes change and I currently read mysteries, romance, or erotica. It has always been my dream to write a book. Although writing is a hobby for me, I hope to produce a book to the best of my abilities and hope you have enjoyed what you read. Thank you for your support.

Book Title: With You (Tear Asunder, .5)
Author: Nashoda Rose
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: December 27, 2013
Hosted by: Book Enthusiast Promotions

Sculpt is an illegal fighter.

He’s also the lead singer of a local rock band.

No one knows his real name.

And from the moment I met him, he made me forget mine.

In order to convince Sculpt to give me self-defence lessons, I had to follow his one rule—no complaining or he’d walk. I didn’t think it would be a problem. I’d been bucked off horses, kicked and stepped on. I could handle a few bruises. What I hadn’t anticipated was landing on my back with Sculpt on top of me and my entire body burning up for him.

I tried to ignore it.

Then I tried to stop it.

I failed of course. And having a hot, tattooed badass on top of me week after week, acting cool and completely immune to what he was doing to my body—it was frustrating as hell, so I broke his rule—I complained.

Then he kissed me.

Author’s Note: This novella is Sculpt and Emily’s beginning and how they met. It is an extra and not required to be read before “Torn from You”. Their story and what happens to them is the novel “Torn from You”.

Warning: Huge cliff-hanger. Like huge! But “With You” and “Torn from You” are released on the same day.

*Due to sexual content and strong language not recommended for readers under 18.

Meet the Author

author pic tourNashoda Rose lives in Toronto with her assortment of pets. She writes contemporary romance with a splash of darkness, or maybe it’s a tidal wave. Her novel “Torn from You” is the first in the Tear Asunder series. When she isn’t writing, she can be found sitting in a field reading with her dog at her side while her horses graze nearby. She loves interacting with her readers on Facebook and chatting about her addiction—books.

I wrapped my fingers around his bicep, well, wrapping was an exaggeration as they couldn’t even come close to circling anything on him except maybe his baby finger.

I tugged while squeezing. “Sculpt?”

He spun around looking on either side of him for the missing girl, then his eyes ran the length of me as if I was up for auction. He looped his arm around my waist, tugged me in tight. I heard the tinsel girl huff then her high heels clicked on the cement floor as she stormed away.

Sculpt leaned in so his lips were close to nibbling on my ear. My breath hitched, and a vibration went through my body. I wasn’t sure if it was from nerves or something else entirely, then I decided it was both. “Not my type,” he said in a deep throaty whisper.“Too young, and I don’t do . . .”

Short. Frumpy. Drab. The words never left my mouth, instead I did what I always did when guys used to make fun of me—I curled my toes.

“Brunettes,” he finished.

Oh. I pulled back, and he let me, but his arm remained around my waist, hand resting on my hip. Dry mouth was rearing its ugly head as I stared up at him, taking in the slight curve of his nose, his angled cheekbones ,and god, he had this dimple in his chin I wanted to run my finger across.

“Where’d the blonde go?”

To find more bleach for her hair.

“You scare her away?”

His breath tickled the sensitive place just below my ear, and my nerves shot off so violently that I knew I’d have fallen flat on my face if he’d let me go.

“Um well no, not exactly. I told her I was your sister and needed to talk to you.”

His brows rose, and he wasn’t smiling . . . Shit. “Sister? I don’t have a sister, at least not one I’m aware of. Unless you’re trying to tell me something?”

There was an edge to his voice, rough with a hint of darkness.

My mouth gaped. “No. God, no.It’s just . . . I wanted to talk to you alone.”

His gaze dripped down my body then back up again. I felt like a piece of steak, and he was appraising me to see if I was worth the price. “So, if not my sister then what do you want from me?”

The reason fled my mind, and I stood staring at him like that stupid piece of steak. “I . . . ah . . . well.” His tongue slid across his upper lip wetting the surface and making it glisten. Jesus, did he even know he was doing that?

“I’m not going to fuck you. I may fight illegally, but I don’t fuck illegally.”

My sudden mind boggle vanished, and ire replaced it. “I’m twenty for your information, and I wouldn’t even consider having sex—”

He frowned, and his lips pursed together. The look sent a flush into my cheeks, because honestly, the guy looked even hotter with a scowl. “Having sex? Can you even say the word fuck?”

“Yeah, fuck you.”

The Space In Between~ Brittainy C Cherry~ Review

New Adult Contemporary
She’s scarred by her past.
ANDREA EVANS is traumatized and guilt-ridden by the death of her fiancée. Tired of the gossiping small town, she travels to New York City to pursue her dream of dance. When her dreams don’t instantly come to fruition, she ends up working at a strip club with her best friend.
He’s uncertain of his future.
COOPER DAVIDSON is a famous photographer and reality television star trying to flee from his own life filled with paparazzi, mental health clinics, and a cheating wife who is pregnant.
When Andrea and Cooper’s paths cross, they realize how damaged and in need of escapism they both are. The two create an arrangement to explore the space in between chaos and order with one another. The rules are simple—no emotional connections, no talking about the past, no speaking of the future, and when one finds order, the other walks away.
All is well until Cooper falls in love with Andrea. Will Andrea open up and let someone else into her closed off heart? Can Cooper stop the tabloids and his crazed wife from exposing his past and painting Andrea as a prostitute to the world before her life spirals back down to the land of chaos?

Andrea has just lost her fiancé in a car accident where she was the driver. Cooper has just found out that his wife is pregnant with another man’s child. Both have just had lives they thought they understood shattered. Andrea moves to New York to stay with a friend and see if she can put together a life away from the small town where she feels she is suffocating. Cooper has a breakdown following his wife’s betrayal that leads him to spending a couple weeks in a psychiatric hospital. To make matters worse, he and his wife star on a successful reality television show so everything in his life is being distorted and magnified by the paparazzi.

Andrea and Cooper cross paths under unusual circumstances, and haven’t seen each other since childhood. They each recognize how broken the other is and attraction as well as a mutual desire to forget just how miserable life is for a while leads them into an intense sexual relationship only as neither wants to deal with or talk about the full reality of their own situation, and both just want a temporary mode of escape. The more they struggle to regain some sense of control in their lives, the more they realize that their feelings for one another are moving way past this situation they have set up for themselves.

This book was a very pleasant surprise, and kept me reading straight through once I started. It was easy to feel right along with both Andrea and Cooper and completely sympathize with their respective situations. I liked how honest they were with one another even though they were both deliberately not talking about certain topics. It was also really great to see each of them accept the other person where they were and respect what they needed or didn’t need at any given time. There was no judgment between them, and even though there were some really rough situations they had to get through, it was clear that they were both doing the best they could. I loved seeing their relationship evolve over time, and each of them heal and find themselves again. Also they had some wicked hot chemistry, and that was delightful.

The secondary characters were interesting, especially Andrea’s parents. They were imperfect people, but it was nice to see them do their best to love her. Andrea’s bff Ladasha was an interesting character, and a great friend to Andrea. I was happy to see some happiness finally go her way. I thought Cooper’s friend/Agent Kyle was sort of an idiot, but I came around to him by the end of the story too.

Overall, I enjoyed this a lot and would recommend it. I would gladly read more by this author in the future.
